A  scrub python, three meters in length, held onto the wing of a plane for nearly two hours, during a flight from Australia to Papua new Guinea. As the snake battled  wind speeds of 250mph  and temperature of -12c, passengers watched intrigued by this miracle. Robet Weber, a passenger onboard the plane and who watched the spectacular snake said “There was no panic. At no time did anyone stop to consider there might be other snakes onboard.” Scrub pythons are the longest snakes in Australia. They feed on rodents and often hide in enclosed spaces to ambush their prey. Despite clinging on all that time the snake didn’t survive the journey from Australia to Papua new Guinea.
